| Last year a farmer near our home had 80 acres of sunflowers! It was easily one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I was so disappointed this year, because he didn't replant them. I am not sure why. I did see an interview with the farmer last year, and he indicated that sunflowers are very cheap to plant, but the selling price had gone down. I am wondering if that is why he chose not to plant them this year. I was missing the sunflowers so much, so I was overjoyed when I found another field! It's not as many as last year, but they are still stunning! |
